The Human Immunology Project Consortium (HIPC) program, established in 2010 by the NIAID Division of Allergy, Immunology, and Transplantation, is a major collaborative effort that is generating large amounts of cross-center and cross-assay data (including high-dimensional data) to characterize the status of the immune system in diverse populations under both normal conditions and in response to stimuli. This large data problem has given birth to ImmuneSpace.

The 2022 HIPC Program is carried out by 8 centers located across the US that study immune perturbations in well-characterized human cohorts using a variety of assays including genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics and immune receptor repertoire sequencing.

The HIPC Coordinating Center (HCC) established in 2022 will provide access to data generated by the HIPC centers to the general scientific community, as well as administrative support to facilitate scientific projects between the HIPC centers.

This website provides a public Portal to access data and tools, as well as a login protected section used to organize HIPC internal initiatives.
